Welcome to The Rookie Homeschoolers Club, I'm so glad you're here! I am by no means a homeschool expert, in fact I feel like a total rookie even though I've researched and thought about homeschooling for years. I've bought curriculum for fun, used teacher resources to supplement my kids learning at home during the school year, workbooks to prevent the summer slide, etc... but still, I feel like an anomaly in the homeschooler space. It's true, I homeschool my 6th grader, and have a 7th grader at a charter school, a 2nd grader at our community school, and my almost 4yr old son enjoys speech intervention preschool five afternoons a week. School choice is clearly something I'm passionate about, and I think it's really important to do what's best for each individual child.
